A modern funeral home
When we built our red-brick East White Oak Terrace funeral home in 1999, we did so with the needs of 21st-century families in mind. Our chapel has a beautiful stained-glass window, and the funeral home has ample room for gathering with friends and family.
Should you wish to host coffee and tea, or even lunch or dinner, we can arrange food and beverage catering. Because we know that each life is different and every family is unique, our staff is trained to listen carefully and help you design a personalized funeral or memorial service.
We work closely with Garden Park Cemetery and Forest Park-The Woodlands Cemetery, though we will work with any cemetery you choose.

Metcalf Funeral Directors was founded in 1938, in downtown Conroe, Texas, by Leo T. Metcalf Sr. and his wife, Naomi. Our funeral home has been managed by 3 generations of the Metcalf family. Originally located on West Davis Street and then North Frazier Street, the funeral home burned to the ground in 1998. It was subsequently rebuilt at our current location on East White Oak Terrace.

LIFT: Luncheon for widows and widowers
11:00am - 12:30pm
LIFT is a social support program that gives widowed individuals the opportunity to socialize with others who share similar feelings and experiences. There are no membership fees or dues, and no reason not to become involved, as the only cost to you is for meals and expenses. LIFT is open to any widow or widower, and we hope you will join us.
LIFT: Picnic in the Park
10:00am - 2:00pm
Enjoy barbecue and fellowship in the park. Bring your favorite game, i.e. cards, dominoes, etc. This is a catered event, requiring a minimum of 50 people in attendance.
