A welcoming Del City funeral home
Because Del City is a diverse community, we welcome people of all religions, cultures and backgrounds. We will incorporate your traditions and preferences into the service to ensure a fitting memorial.
Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home has a single chapel that comfortably holds up to 200 people. The non-denominational chapel features rows of pews with a pulpit in the front. It is simply decorated, allowing families to use the space to reflect the life being celebrated. For more intimate gatherings, we have several visitation rooms with comfortable chairs and couches.
A reception area has round tables for catered gatherings. Our professional catering service can handle virtually any type of food and drink requests. From a breakfast taco buffet to an ice cream social to a barbecue dinner, leave the details to us.
Let’s celebrate life
Our funeral directors are quite skilled at designing highly personalized memorial services. We help families find inspiration almost anywhere—in a song, a hobby, a trademark style, a defining philosophy or a lifelong passion—and transform that inspiration into a memorial service filled with thoughtful and meaningful details.
What was important to the person you loved? Whether it was a gift for baking, a love of travel or even a preference for the color red, we can help you weave your loved one’s unique passions into a memorable service that truly celebrates his or her life. A celebration can be as simple or elaborate as you desire. No detail is too big or small.

We Honor Veterans
Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home is just a short walk from Tinker Air Force Base, and we've done numerous military funerals. We understand the unique needs of America’s veterans and their families. As a Level Four Founding Community Partner with We Honor Veterans, we are honored to serve our nation’s heroes and take this responsibility seriously. We have taken steps to ensure our staff is knowledgeable of all the benefits available to military veterans and their families.
We also participate in the Homeless Veterans Burial Program, which provides veterans with proper burials even if they have fallen on hard financial times. We believe every member of the military deserves a dignified memorial. More than 1,000 people attended a recent service for a homeless veteran to help us celebrate his life and contribution to our country.
In addition, we host community events annually in honor of our veterans and work closely with local veterans organizations. With respect, integrity and dignity, we will walk you through the steps of creating a veteran’s memorial service that truly honors the life and sacrifice of your loved one.
We care about Oklahoma City
The people of Del City and Oklahoma City are very important to us. Our team believes in giving back, and we are involved in many community organizations, including the local chapter of Kiwanis International. Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home partners with Sunny Lane Cemetery for special services on Memorial Day, Veterans Day and Mother’s Day. We also work with that cemetery to host holiday remembrance programs.
Bill and Lloyd Eisenhour founded Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home in 1966. Over the years, the property has undergone 3 expansions, but the funeral home, still in its original farmhouse, retains a vintage charm.
The Eisenhour family remains involved in the funeral home today. In fact, Lloyd is still active as a consultant.
Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home is a member of the Dignity Memorial® network, the largest provider of funeral, cremation and cemetery services in North America. Our team continues a long-standing family tradition of sincere, hometown service while delivering the value and benefits your family deserves.
