    Jason Robert Abner

    Manager

    A native of Southeastern Kentucky, Jason joined the team at Cromartie-Miller Funeral and Cremation Services in January 2018. Though not originally from Harnett County, he enjoys being part of the community and feels a kinship with the people here.

    Jason holds professional licenses in North Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky. He is a 2009 graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service, where he was the recipient of the Charles Wynn Memorial Scholarship and was initiated into Pi Sigma Eta, the national morticians fraternity.

    Jason is also a member of Dunn-Erwin Rotary Club, Coats Lions Club and the Masonic Lodge. He attends St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Erwin, where he sings in the choir.

    George A Neighbors

    Funeral Director

    George Neighbors came to work alongside our owner as a funeral director in 1961. After becoming a licensed funeral director in 1966, George served full time until 1978. He continues to serve part time today. During his career, spanning over half a century, George has always found it a rewarding career to help families during the most difficult time of their lives, despite the many changes he has witnessed in the funeral industry. George feels greatly privileged in guiding families in the right direction during their time of grief and he hopes to continue serving for many years to come.

    Ricky Miller

    Consultant

    Ricky Miller has been affiliated with our funeral home since 1969 when he began his funeral service apprenticeship. He graduated from Kentucky College of Mortuary Science in 1972 and obtained his funeral service license in 1975. A former owner of Cromartie - Miller Funerals and Cremations, Ricky served the families of Dunn, North Carolina, and the surrounding areas with his caring spirit. Retired in June 2013, he continues to serve as an ambassador for the funeral home.
