George J. Roberts and Sons Funeral Home was founded in 1927 by George J. Roberts Sr. on the west side of Buffalo, where it remained for more than 20 years. His son, George Jr., moved the business to 2400 Main St. in 1948. The Main Street facility continued operation under the leadership of George's other sons, G. Brian Roberts and Gary M. Roberts, until 2001, when the funeral home was relocated to Delaware Avenue in Kenmore.
The current facility, located on Transit Road in East Amherst, was newly built in 1996 by G. Brian Roberts to provide quality, personalized service to East Amherst communities. Dengler, Roberts, Perna Funeral Home is centrally located to conveniently serve the families of Amherst, Clarence, Clarence Center, Getzville and Harris Hill.
