A modern El Paso funeral home
Opened in 2017, Evergreen East Funeral Home has a modern look and feel. Natural light, stained-glass windows and rustic, wood beams give the space a warm glow and Texas charm. We have spaces for all sizes of gatherings, from intimate family-only memorials to celebrations with hundreds of friends.
We take care of families by treating them like family, regardless of religious faith or personal customs. Because we’re familiar with a wide variety of cultures, we can help you honor the traditions that are important to your family.
We celebrate life like no other
Evergreen East Funeral Home associates have decades of experience supporting and guiding families through the emotional funeral planning process. Our associates believe that compassion is important during a time of loss, and we are honored to celebrate the life of your loved one. We offer customized, one-of-a-kind tributes that show just how a person loved life and lived to the fullest.
We start with a story and get inspiration from most anywhere—a personal passion, a hobby, a treasured collection, a song, even a favorite phrase. From there we design a detailed and memorable memorial that deeply reflects an individual's life.
The associates at Evergreen East Funeral Home offer personalized keepsakes to keep your loved one near. We can create a multimedia slideshow or make a piece of jewelry with your loved one’s fingerprint or birthstone—or both. Families choosing cremation have a wide range of keepsake urns and cremation jewelry to choose from.
On-site cremation services
The crematory at Evergreen East Funeral Home has a peaceful viewing room for families who want a witness cremation. We offer a catalog of traditional cremation urns, keepsake urns and cremation jewelry to keep your loved one close to you after the service.
Service after the funeral
Our compassionate care doesn't end when the funeral or memorial is over. Evergreen East will always be there to help when you come to the cemetery to visit a loved one. From a sympathy call to placing flowers on a grave, the ways our associates stand by you are many.
What's more, our 24-Hour Compassion Helpline® gives you access to licensed therapists who can walk you through the pain of loss and offer comfort and resources. It’s a feature we provide to help you heal and grow.

The Evergreen East Funeral Home team speaks both English and Spanish, and they are here to answer all your questions. Whether you are planning a funeral service right now or wish to start planning ahead, our family service counselors can discuss your options with you, show you around the funeral home and give you a tour of the cemetery property. From our calming receptionist who greets visitors at the door to our funeral attendants and clerks who assist in funeral planning, our staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Compassion is our mission, and we are honored to serve you. Please call us when you need us.
Evergreen Cemetery East
Evergreen Cemetery East comprises 95 West Texas acres of mature Afghan pines, elm trees and more. It is home to hundreds of rabbits, quail and owls, which can often be seen as you walk the cemetery grounds. The large size of the cemetery allows us to accommodate especially large services, like the breathtaking memorial for a law enforcement officer that included bagpipers and more than 50 fellow officers lined up in a field.
We care for El Paso
The team at Evergreen East Funeral Home and Evergreen Cemetery East love being part of the El Paso community. We partner with organizations like Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Club del Angel and Strong Coalition. Throughout the year, we give back through these organizations. One example: With Club del Angel and other area funeral homes, we raised money and collected items like clothing and food for 4 children who lost their mother.
Our Mother’s Day Remembrance and Christmas services are open to the public. These special events provide a time of reflection for families who have lost someone they love. The holiday service features a tree lighting and opportunity for families to hang custom-made ornaments with their loved ones' names on our tree.
Evergreen Cemetery East opened in the 1960s to serve the growing community beyond the capacity of the city’s original cemetery, which dates to the 1800s. Created out of a need to serve the growing east side of El Paso, Evergreen East Funeral Home opened on January 30, 2017, on the grounds of Evergreen Cemetery East, giving the city's residents their first option of planning a funeral, cremation and burial at the same location.
