Imagine a night under the stars held in honor of your family’s amateur astronomer, with professionally catered refreshments served alongside a telescope turned toward the sky. Envision one last cruise-in for the hot rodder who spent every spare moment in the garage, with a high-horsepower escort for the funeral coach. When it comes to creating the perfect personalized service, your imagination is the limit.
Choose a contemporary celebration of life or a traditional religious ceremony—or integrate elements of both to create your own personalized fit. We are well-versed in arranging funerals with military honors. Our interfaith chapel welcomes celebrants of all faiths and our meticulous team takes care of every detail so you can spend more time with those who matter most.
The century-old grounds of Evergreen Cemetery have served families from Lynnwood to Granite Falls since 1898. Mature trees present their seasonal foliage across the 100-acre cemetery, with well-landscaped gardens that host both in-ground and above-ground burials. Family estates provide a unique place for future generations to gather in remembrance. Cremation options include a scattering garden as well as inurnment in the community mausoleum.
Rucker Mausoleum—a 30-foot Washington granite pyramid resting on a stone-encased earthen plinth—welcomes celebrants with a door of Red Beach granite from Maine. The chapel inside holds a large dome with 4 art-glass windows. The mausoleum holds 22 crypts, with fitted closures made of polished Barre granite from Vermont.
According to a local historian, Evergreen Cemetery has been referred to as the "biographical encyclopedia" of Everett, Washington. Through the years, it has become the final resting place for many prominent citizens, including 2 U.S. senators and 4 governors, and more than 150 Civil War veterans.
