Robert "Bobby" Ramirez was born and raised in Hebbronville, Texas. He is the middle child of seven children. Some people would say he was "born into the funeral business" as his father was co-owner of Howard Williams Funeral Home from 1976 to 1984. Bobby was the only one of his siblings who was intrigued by the business and worked beside his father at the funeral home during the summers and after school from the age of 10. He graduated from Hebbronville High School in 1982. Deciding to follow in his father’s footsteps, he attended Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services in Houston, Texas, and graduated a licensed funeral director and embalmer in 1983.
Bobby put his license to work and began his career immediately after returning from Houston and, after about six years of employment, he was named manager in 1989. Bobby, currently serving as location manager, has remained with Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams throughout his three-plus decades in funeral service.
During whatever spare time he can find Bobby volunteers for the New Hebbronville Cemetery and Greenhill Cemetery. He was awarded the Living Brand for Excellence in 2014. Bobby's wife happens to be the office manager at Howard-Williams and together they have three children. Bobby and his family reside in Hebbronville, Texas.
