Trusted funeral provider
We are proud to be a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers. When you choose Harden Funeral Homes, you not only receive the compassionate care you expect from a locally operated funeral home, but also the value you deserve from the largest and most trusted network of funeral, cremation and memorialization service providers.
Not everyone knows that there are many cremation options. If you are interested in cremation, the funeral home team can explain the process and the different memorial and burial choices. From a direct cremation without a service or a witness to a full funeral service before or after the cremation and more, we help you understand this increasingly common decision. For families who choose the time-honored tradition of cremation, our full-service funeral home has a private crematory on the property. This gives Harden Funeral Home complete control of a cremation from start to finish and means your loved one never leaves our care.

Fred Passarella acquired Harden Funeral Home in 1975, and he acquired Francis X. Hatton Funeral Home in 2004 from the Hatton family. Throughout the years, Harden Funeral Home has served many families in Bayside and the neighboring Queens communities. In December 2012, Fred retired and we joined the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers. With over 100 years of combined experience, our staff at Harden Funeral Home is dedicated to the families we serve as well as celebrating the life of their loved ones.
We cherish the community we serve and invite you to join us for our upcoming events.
