History

Fred Passarella acquired Harden Funeral Home in 1975, and he acquired Francis X. Hatton Funeral Home in 2004 from the Hatton family. Throughout the years, Harden Funeral Home has served many families in Bayside and the neighboring Queens communities. In December 2012, Fred retired and we joined the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers. With over 100 years of combined experience, our staff at Harden Funeral Home is dedicated to the families we serve as well as celebrating the life of their loved ones.

In response to the varied needs of veterans, the Economic Opportunity Council of Suffolk, Inc. and the Women Marines Association have made it their mission to have an impact on the homeless female veteran community. The proceeds of this event will assist female veterans in having access to the resources they need in order to sustain living, working and staying on Long Island.

Please join us and become part of this wonderful event, to support the many women veterans that have sacrificed so much! Event will be held rain or shine, and a Cadence March will follow the run's 9:00am start.

The Dignity Memorial team is proud to have underwritten this project and to have passionately supported bringing it to life over the past few years.
