Personalized funeral services
Every life tells a story. Let Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park help you celebrate yours or your loved one's. With personalized funeral services as our focus, our dedicated team members assist you in designing a unique and heartfelt tribute that celebrates a person's passions, individuality and personality.
How this plays out is as unique as the person being remembered. We have transformed our event spaces into a NASCAR lover’s dream, a fishing spot for an avid angler and an artist’s studio. We can collaborate with you on fun ways to remember your world traveler, bookworm, boating enthusiast or amateur chef.
The possibilities are nearly endless, and you can count on us to take care of all of the details of your celebration—no matter how big or small.
A modern funeral home for all
The beautiful, light-filled Spanish-style Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park opened in 1989. It was remodeled in 2016 to better meet the needs of today's Fort Myers-area families. We added contemporary lighting fixtures, flooring and furniture to create a vibrant atmosphere that feels like a luxury Florida resort. Our facility has 3 event rooms: The Floridian, the Magnolia and the Royal Poinciana.
Our smallest venue, the Floridian, features round tables with sea foam green and Caribbean blue tablecloths. The Magnolia is our medium-size venue. It also features brightly covered round tables and features a wall of wooden shelves where you can showcase a loved one’s photographs and beloved mementos. The Royal Poinciana is a premium venue with a variety of seating options, including overstuffed chairs and modern sofas reminiscent of those in a hotel lobby. The focal point of the room is a stone wall where you can display a casket or cremation urn.
Not everyone knows that there are many cremation options. If you are interested in cremation, the funeral home team can explain the process, including the different memorial services, while the cemetery team can walk you through the various burial options. From a direct cremation without a service or a witness cremation to a full funeral service before or after the cremation and more, we help you understand this increasingly common choice.
For families who choose the time-honored tradition of cremation, our full-service funeral home has a private crematory on the property. This gives Hodges Funeral Home complete control of a cremation from start to finish and means your loved one never leaves our care. If you so choose, cremated remains may be buried at Lee Memorial Park.

Lee Memorial Park cemetery
Lee Memorial Park cemetery sits on 72 acres in Fort Myers. With 14 well-manicured gardens and stately palm and cyprus trees throughout the grounds, the cemetery is a picturesque final resting place.
The cemetery offers a big variety of burial options. From traditional ground interment and mausoleum entombment to cremation gardens and private family estates, there are many choices to suit your desires.
Special cemetery sections
In December 2016, Sunrise Garden opened at Lee Memorial Park. This meticulously groomed section of the cemetery features ground burial spaces with options for upright monuments and private hedge estates along a pathway lined with mature oak trees. At the center of the garden, cremation placement options surround a lively dolphin fountain.
Some sections and gardens of the cemetery are dedicated to certain groups and religions. For the Jewish faith, the Garden of David is set off by shrubbery in the front and cypress trees down the middle. The veterans garden features a large elevated marble podium with cremation niches in front and a backdrop of service flags.
Room for expansion
With more than half a century of providing cemetery services to Lee County families, we still have room to grow. Thirty untouched acres ensure that Lee Memorial Park will serve generations to come.
We welcome you to come see the cemetery for yourself. Visit anytime or call us to schedule a guided tour.
We honor veterans
Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park understands the unique needs of America’s veterans and their families. As a Level One Founding Community Partner with We Honor Veterans, our staff is knowledgeable in the benefits available to veterans and their families. With respect, integrity and dignity, we will walk you through the steps of creating a veteran's memorial service that truly honors the life and sacrifice of your loved one.
Each Memorial Day, we host a ceremony with the local VFW and American Legion to honor veterans. The service is held in the cemetery's veterans garden and draws 100s of people each year. In addition, we place flags on every veteran's grave that day.
We are honored to arrange veterans funerals and work with the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and military bases to provide full military honors.
