    Charles L. Melton, better known as Larry, is the former owner of the Klaehn, Fahl, Melton Funeral Homes. He is a proud funeral director, having served the Fort Wayne community for over half a century. Larry takes pride in creating a meaningful service for your family, making sure to take care of all the details.

    Elaine Auer graduated from East Noble High School in 2012 and Mid-America College of Funeral Service in 2014. She began her funeral service career in Louisville, Kentucky, and then moved home to work in the Fort Wayne area in early 2017. Elaine has a passion for helping others and is proud to serve her community.

    She and her husband have 1 son. They are members of Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne.

    Jeffrey A Crawford

    General Manager

    Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Jeffrey Crawford has been involved in funeral service since the 1980s. Jeff is passionate about giving back to his community and providing excellent service to families at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home.

    Since 2004, Jeff has been a committee member of Rockin' Docs Musicfest, which has donated more than $400,000 to local medical charities. Jeff volunteers for SCAN (Stop Child Abuse and Neglect) and sat on a state panel to help young dads become more engaged with their children.

    Jeff and his wife have 8 grown children. They have also fostered more than 12 children.
