Jonathan chose funeral service because of his passion for making a difference by helping families during their time of need. He earned his degree in mortuary science and funeral home management in 1994 from the New England Institute of Funeral Service in Newton, Massachusetts.

Karen became a licensed funeral director and embalmer in 1974, when women in funeral service were rare. In fact, she was the only female in her graduating class. Today, as a seasoned funeral director, Karen has lots of experience relating to a family’s needs and showing compassion and kindness in a most difficult time.
Karen is a member of the Shuttle Meadow Country Club and the Calabria Mia Society; she is involved in several community activities. Karen and her husband live in New Britain. They have 1 daughter.
