Since January 2011 Devon Babin has provided compassionate care to families in Ascension Parish and the surrounding areas. Devon earned her degree in mortuary science from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, Texas, in December 2013. She is proud to be a part of the Dignity Memorial® team, guiding and aiding families during one of the most personal times of their lives.
Greg M Myers
Greg has been a funeral director and embalmer at Ourso Funeral Home since January 2014. He graduated from University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2001 with a degree in biology and from Delgado College in 2012 with a degree in mortuary science. Greg has served families in Ascension Parish since 2014 with the utmost professionalism, compassion and excellence. When not serving families, Greg enjoys gardening, traveling and spending time with his two children.
Shannon attended Auburn University, Tulane School of Continuing Studies and Our Lady of Holy Cross College. She graduated from Delgado Community College with a degree in funeral service education and has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 2007. Caring for families and helping them honor their loved ones is her calling, and empathy is her strength.
Shannon was born and raised in New Orleans and now lives in La Place. When she is not working, Shannon likes to travel and see movies. She has 2 great kids.
Gerald M Robbins Jr.
Gerald Milton Robbins Jr., known by most as Milton, has been the location manager at Ourso Funeral Home of Gonzales since March 15, 1983. He graduated from Delgado Community College in 1979 with a degree in mortuary science. Milton has served the families of Ascension Parish and the surrounding area since 1983 with the utmost professionalism and compassion. Milton is also a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and a proud member of the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office. If he is not at the funeral home, you will likely find Milton enjoying time with family and friends and volunteering in the community.
Otto F Briede
A fourth-generation funeral director, Otto F. Briede joined the funeral industry at an early age, first starting at his family’s business. After graduating from Louisiana State University, he obtained his funeral director’s license and began providing funeral services to families at several funeral homes, being recognized as Funeral Director of the Year in 1990.
Three years after joining Dignity Memorial in 2015, Otto accepted the Sales Manager position, overseeing and training family service counselors to best provide compassionate care to families, as well as developing programs to assist families in making pre-arranged funeral and cemetery services.
Out side of work, Otto enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 daughters. He has served on the school boards for both St. Martin’s Episcopal Little School and St. Francis Xavier Catholic School and is a board member of the Nunez Community College Foundation and Al Briede Gold Cup Race & Foundation. He is also a member of the Aloha Tau Omega Fraternity, the LSU Alumni Association, and a lifelong member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, as well as the Alpine, Iris and Semreh clubs.
