Funeral Director James. L Heuvel believes this quote by St. Francis of Assisi is a good axiom to follow when funeral service professionals minister to the needs of families: “Minister in everything you do. When necessary, use words.”
James has worked in the funeral service profession for many decades. He has been a licensed funeral director, licensed pre-need counselor, funeral director assistant, crematory operator, and a removal technician. James joined Strate Funeral Homes in 2009 and has been honored to serve the rural communities surrounding Grand Coulee, Davenport, and Odessa, Washington, ever since.
James strongly believes that we must be neighbors within our community to truly build enduring relationships. He is active in his church, community choir, the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, Aisle of Flags, and other local organizations, but James’s first priority is his wife.
