A caring Greensboro funeral home and chapel
Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home has a large chapel that seats about 160 people. The nondenominational chapel is used for funeral and memorial services for people of many cultures and religions.
Our team understands the beliefs and traditions of North Carolina's Piedmont Triad region, and we celebrate each individual life in individual ways.
Personalized funeral services
Whether you are seeking a cremation with a simple memorial service, a traditional funeral or a modern celebration of life, we go the extra mile to make it happen—and we do it with a level of care and compassion that's uncommon.
Want a dove release? You got it. The best barbecue in Greensboro? You can have that too. Tiny race cars as mementos? Yes. Our caring and compassionate funeral home team will take the time to visit with your family and help plan a unique, personalized celebration of your loved one's life.
Not everyone knows that there are many cremation options. If you are interested in cremation, the funeral home team can explain the process and different options. From a direct cremation without a memorial service or a witness cremation to a full funeral service before or after the cremation and more, we help you understand this increasingly common choice—and handle all of the cremation arrangements. If you wish, cremated remains can be placed at Guilford Memorial Park.

Guilford Memorial Park cemetery
Established in 1936 and covering more than 100 acres, Guilford Memorial Park is located at 6000 High Point Road between 2 of the Piedmont Triad's biggest cities, Greensboro and High Point. Magnolia trees, rolling hills and a sparkling lake offer a peaceful final resting place.
Mausoleums and committal services
When you enter the memorial park, you will see The Tower Mausoleum, an outdoor mausoleum faced in rock and with a Spanish-style red tile roof. Mausoleum II offers above-ground entombment inside and outside. Both have small chapels for committal services. Each seats about 35 guests.
Burial and interment options
Guilford Memorial Park also has several sections for ground burial, giving families the choice of upright monuments or flat bronze markers. We also have a cremation garden with a variety of cremation interment options. A private estate is an option for both families and individuals.
We welcome you to visit the non-denominational cemetery anytime. If you would like a guided tour, just call us. We are happy to show you around.
Veterans cemetery and military funerals
Working together, Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home and Guilford Memorial Park frequently perform military funerals and burials. The cemetery has a large veterans section. The funeral home works closely with local and national military organizations to uphold military traditions. Through the Homeless Veterans Burial Program, the funeral home also provides members of the U.S. armed forces who have fallen on hard times funeral services at no cost.
Community events and involvement
Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home and Guilford Memorial Park are active in the Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem communities by hosting community events on Easter, Mother’s Day, Veterans Day and during the December holidays. Together with local churches, we host community barbecues.
