"I've had much experience with funeral homes and funerals, both negative and positive, and there is no one like Gutterman and Musicant. I used them to pre-arrange and direct both my parents' funerals and to arrange for and direct my close friend's funeral. They are an anchor in a very painful, emotional, and overwhelming storm. They have always gone above and beyond anything I could have wished for or imagined. While I had dealt mostly with Frederick Bennis, who has truly been a gift from G-d, everyone I spoke and dealt with was filled with compassion, kindness, gentleness, professionalism, sensitivity, sympathy, and a willingness to help in any way. In the midst of my pain, confusion, and grief, they handled everything with perfection and precision, answering my many questions with total patience and care, offering options that might be meaningful to me, and operating with a keen understanding of who I was and what would be important to me. All I had to do at each of these funerals was to show up -- Gutterman and Musicant, particularly Frederick Bennis, handled and directed everything beforehand, at the time of death, and at both the chapel and graveside services, always offering special touches and helpful assistance without my asking or knowing. For example, unbeknownst to me, they prepared a beautiful card with my Dad's photo and obituary to be given and sent out, which I still have up in my home; they did the same for Mom, even in the midst of some COVID-19 challenges. These cards meant so much to me and to those who received them. Also, for Mom's graveside service, Frederick Bennis brought chairs, lots of water in a cooler, and an umbrella to use amidst the intense sun and heat. He even brought sand from Israel for each of us to sprinkle into Mom's grave, which brought much comfort to me and my family. My close friend was so impressed with what he had heard and seen at Mom's funeral, that he asked Frederick for a business card. Most people don't talk about Funeral Directors, but I have been so moved by Gutterman and Musicant's heart, care, professionalism, help, and loving presence that I've shared story after story with family and friends. That's how much they touched my heart and helped me and my family over and again in such deeply painful and overwhelming times."

"My husband fainted and the response time was 1/2hr. I know that did not have to do with you but it might be something to mention. Also a chair or two and a cold bottle of water may be appropriate to carry in the hearse."
