Stephen J. Wilsbach III began his career at a very early age by helping his uncle, a funeral director and former owner of The Neill Funeral Home, located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Upon graduating from Biship McDevitt High School, Steve headed to Miami-Dade Junior College in Florida to study mortuary science.
Steve became a licensed funeral director in Pennsylvania in 1980 and continued working for Neill Funeral Home, becoming the supervisor in 1985 and the manager of two locations, Neill Funeral Home in Harrisburg and Neill Funeral Home in Camp Hill, in 1989. He is known for his compassionate and genuine spirit with which he serves families while planning the perfect tribute for their loved ones.
Aside from his work, Steve is actively involved in the community through the Masonic Lodge, AHEPA and The Knights of Columbus, 4th degree. He is married and has three children and two dogs. Steve is an avid bowler and golfer and on occasion he coaches little league baseball.
James Peter Kiernan Jr
James Kiernan began his career in funeral service at the age of 13, working for his uncle in White Plains, New York. Jim graduated from St. Francis Preparatory School in Spring Grove in 1970 and Lebanon Valley College in 1974. He worked in the Harrisburg and York areas for 36 years following his 1979 graduation from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Jim joined Neill Funeral Home in 2016.
Jim has been very active in Rotary International, United Way and other organizations throughout his career. He served on the board of directors for his credit union for 15 years and coached lacrosse in the York area for 13 years. Jim has a wonderful daughter who lives in Washington, D.C. When he is not at work, Jim has probably gone golfing.
Kevin J Shillabeer
Kevin has been a funeral director with our team since November 2007. He graduated from Northampton College in 1989 with a degree in mortuary science. Kevin has served the families in Camp Hill and Harrisburg area with the utmost professionalism and compassion. When he is not at the funeral home, you'll likely find Kevin teaching and coaching ballroom dancing or giving seminars on the history of rituals, rites and superstitions in funeral customs.
