Katherine is a native to Catawba County who grew up in the Saint Stephens community, where she lives today. Katy graduated from Saint Stephens High School in 1996 and continued her education at Catawba Valley Community College. Katy has been at Catawba Funeral Home and Memorial Park since 2004. During her tenure, she has served as an administrative assistant, office manager and currently as the location manager.
Katy volunteers monthly with Catawba County Meals on Wheels and weekly with Catawba County Backpack Program. She has been happily married since 2001 and has two amazing kids. She also considers her two pets, Lily, an Australian shepherd, and Rosy, a German shepherd/Weimaraner mix, part of the family. In her spare time you can catch her most often at a ball field or working in her garden. Katy loves spending time with her family and friends and, when time allows, reading.
Billie J Howe
Billie is originally from Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, and her family moved to North Carolina in 1986. She has been a funeral professional since 2004 and has been with our funeral home since 2007. Billie enjoys helping our families find comfort and peace of mind after the passing of a loved one.
She is happily married and has an amazing son. Billie has 3 dachshunds—Macie, Rayner and Beckett, 2 cats—Poppey and Mr. Poody, and a grandpuppy—Zeeva. She is of the Lutheran faith and likes to read, travel and spend time with her family.
Amanda Leigh Triplett
Amanda has been a funeral professional since 2010 and is a 2011 graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service. The interaction with each family is what is most important to her as she carefully tends to every detail of their service.
Amanda is a native of Hickory, a member of Fresh Fire Church of God in Hildebran and a volunteer at Conover School. She is happily married and in her spare time Amanda likes to paint, draw and spend time with her family and her fur baby, Maggie.
