Since the 2000s Ronnie W. Buggs II has provided peace, comfort and professional service to grieving families. Ronnie works side-by-side with families to create personalized and meaningful memorials of their loved one. Dedicating himself to the service of those bereaved, he takes great pride in being there to serve when it seems all hope is lost.
Texas born and raised, Ronnie graduated from Dwight D. Eisenhower High School in 2000. Ronnie earned an associate degree in funeral service from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in 2004 and a Bachelor of Science in management and organizational development from Bethel University in 2014. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in business management and leadership.
A licensed funeral director in Tennessee and Texas, Ronnie recently moved back to Houston in 2016 from Memphis. Ronnie is honored to provide the best possible care to each family at Brookside Funeral Home. Growing up in a Christian home, he is a proud member of Jericho City Church of God in Christ. He enjoys traveling, fine dining, amusement parks, swimming, cooking or baking and shooting pool. Ronnie also enjoys spending time with his parents, brother, sister and 3 godsons.
Jaleesa Shantae Wilson
Jaleesa S. Wilson has been serving families since she began her journey as a mortuary student in 2007 at Brookside Funeral Home. While learning, her passion and drive would grow beyond her expectations. Upon completing her studies at Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service, she became a licensed funeral director, continued to serve families at Brookside and later with Funeraria del Angel.
Jaleesa’s initial interest in the industry began with her grandfather, whose love for the funeral industry and serving others set the example for her to follow. The youngest of four, Jaleesa was born and raised in Houston, Texas. In her spare time, she loves traveling with her husband, worshiping with other believers and spending time with her family.
Whitney Rose Wright
Whitney began her career in the funeral industry in 2008, where she developed an interest in a career as a funeral director. She enrolled at Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service and graduated with a certificate in funeral services in 2013.
Whitney joined the team at Brookside Funeral Home in 2016, where she provides peace, comfort and compassionate care to the many families served.
Whitney is passionately involved in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo to help raise money for youth scholarships and currently serves as a member of the Poultry Auction Committee. She is also a member of the Second Baptist Church.
A native of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Whitney moved to Kingwood, Texas, in 1990 with her family. Whitney is a mom of 2 beautiful daughters and is very active her in community. She volunteers with her daughter's Girl Scout troop, creates arts and craft projects and sells lots of Girl Scout cookies.
