Jerry James Reyes
Vice President & COO
Jerry James Reyes serves as vice president and chief operating officer of Houston's most prestigious firm of funeral directors, Geo. H. Lewis and Sons Funeral Directors, and has served in the funeral profession since the early 1990s. He graduated from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico, with a degree in business management and from San Antonio College in San Antonio, Texas, with a degree in mortuary science.
Jerry began in the funeral profession at the age of 15 and, throughout his career, has served at some of the largest and most prestigious funeral firms in New Mexico, Texas and California. Jerry served in management throughout his tenure at the renowned Forest Lawn Memorial Parks and Mortuaries in Los Angeles, California, beginning at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills before becoming memorial counseling manager for the entire Forest Lawn Association. He, then, was hand-selected to join the Geo. H. Lewis and Sons Funeral Directors. Under the direct tutelage of these fine Texas funeral giants, Jerry is honored to carry on the "white glove service" for which Geo. H. Lewis and Sons is known.
Audra has been a funeral director at Geo. H. Lewis and Sons since March 2016. She graduated from Kansas City Kansas Community College in 2010 with a degree in mortuary science. Audra has served the families in Houston since 2016 with the utmost professionalism and compassion.
Michael J Lombard
Michael, a Texas native, born in San Antonio and raised in Houston, made funeral service his second career in May 2003 after leaving the gas pipeline industry. He began as a funeral service professional at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery and received his Associate of Applied Science degree in 2005 upon graduating the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston. After serving his provisional internship at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, Michael earned his license in February 2007 and was immediately offered a position at Settegast-Kopf Company on Kirby. Upon its closing the following August, he transitioned to Geo. H. Lewis and Sons. Michael takes great pride in being a member of the elite, professional and detail-oriented Dignity Memorial® team, providing the best of service to each family.
Andrew C Smeltzer
Andrew first joined Geo. H. Lewis and Sons in 2012 after completing his bachelor’s degree in mortuary science from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Andrew has served in several capacities at the firm and most recently has been named a senior funeral director. He has wanted to join Geo. H. Lewis and Sons since he was a young boy and is extremely proud to be part of such a dynamic and caring team of professionals. Andrew values his work guiding families through the most difficult part of life and does so with a deep sense of reverence and respect.
When he is not serving families, Andrew prefers to stay busy. He will often be at the dog park with his dog, Dexter, playing flag football, softball, or other sports or simply spending time with friends.
