History

Bruce and Linda Myers opened Myers Funeral Home in Markle, Indiana, in 1972. Seven years later, a large chapel was added to the existing building on Lee Street, changing the layout to better accommodate our guests. When funeral home ownership changed hands in 1997, a complete interior redecoration took place.

Huntington Chapel

In December 1987, Huntington Chapel opened to better serve families across northeast Indiana. Huntington Chapel became the county’s premier facility, with large chapels, a 1-level floor design and ample off-street, on-site parking.

A local touch

Bruce and Linda retired from the funeral home in summer 1998, but our locally based team remains committed to treating our neighbors with professional compassion and respect.
