Travis Hunt has provided compassionate funeral care to families in Jackson, Tennessee, for more than 35 years. Originally from Savannah, Travis resides in the Jackson area. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, lawn work and being involved with the community.
Jack is a valuable part of our team, though he is not a licensed funeral director. While he is not qualified to make funeral arrangements, do embalming or conduct funerals, his commitment to excellence and his support of our staff allow our funeral home to provide the very best service to each family.
W. Jerry Smith is a licensed funeral director and has served the family firm in different capacities for over 60 years. Jerry is an active member of many service boards and civic clubs, including the Rotary Club of Jackson. He enjoys spending time with his wife, their 4 children and their grandchildren. He and his wife are also active members of First United Methodist Church.
Joshua James Englert
Joshua J. Englert is a licensed funeral director and embalmer and has served families in and around West, Tennessee, since 2001. Originally from West, Josh graduated from John A Gupton College of Mortuary Science. He started in the funeral business at the age of 17 in a temporary position while attending Lambuth College, fulfilling duties such as mowing and opening and closing graves. From there he went on to make funeral service his career.
Josh is active in his church and enjoys attending his children's sporting and academic events.
He lives in Medina with his wife, sons and his English bulldog, Wally.
David James Plunk
David "D.J." Plunk has been serving families in Jackson since 2012. Originally from Dresden, Tennessee, D.J. resides in the Lambuth area neighborhood of Jackson. D.J. is an active member serving at St. Luke's Episcopal Church. He enjoys spending his spare time with his 2 dogs, Tucker and Ozzy, collecting antiques for his home, learning about the history and historic homes of Jackson and listening to and playing music.
