    Mary Beth Malphurs


    Mary Beth was born in El Paso, Texas, but raised in Bremerton, Washington. She moved to Jacksonville, Florida, in 1989 and soon after met the love of her life.

    After working for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida for 19 years, Mary Beth decided she wanted to change careers. She chose the funeral profession and was hired by the Hardage-Giddens family in 2010 starting as a receptionist. She graduated from Florida State College at Jacksonville with an Associate of Science degree in 2011.

    Mary Beth and her husband have 2 grown boys and her hobbies include collecting dragonfly motif and bowling in a local league with her family.

    Robert Earl Moore

    General Manager

    Robert was born and raised in Georgia and moved to Jacksonville in 1989 after graduating from high school. He worked in the funeral profession for 13 years before going to mortuary college. In 2002, he began studying mortuary science at Gupton–Jones College of Funeral Service and working with the Dignity Memorial network. He earned his degree in 2004. Robert’s passions are serving families and traveling. His favorite place to visit is Munich, Germany.

    Daniel Alan Geoghagan

    Funeral Director

    Daniel’s involvement in the funeral industry began after graduating from Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science with a degree in mortuary science. He started working with the Dignity Memorial network as a funeral director and embalmer intern in 2002. He and his wife live in Hilliard with their 3 daughters. If you can't find Danny at the funeral home, he is probably working with his farm animals or fishing.

    Rebecca Walls Haim

    Funeral Director

    Rebecca was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and is a graduate of Nathan Bedford Forrest High School, class of 1997. She began her career in the funeral service profession at Hardage-Giddens, Town and Country Funeral Home in 1999 and has worked for Hardage-Giddens for several years as a part-time staff associate and office assistant.

    She graduated from Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Services in Decatur, Ga. with an Associate of Science degree in mortuary science. A devoted wife and mother, Rebecca concentrated on raising her 2 young boys after graduation. She returned to funeral service in 2015 and was licensed as a Florida funeral director in September 2016.

    She and her family are members of Faithbridge Church. During her spare time, Rebecca enjoys baking, cooking and floral design. Rebecca also enjoys activities with her husband and boys: going camping, the occasional fishing and hunting outings and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.

    As president of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Homes, Joseph "Jody" Brandenburg has a passion for helping client families. That drive manifests itself through the staff members he mentors, who share his desire to deliver excellence and attention to detail beyond the expectation of every family.

    Jody's wife, Janne Ferrell Brandenburg, is a Jacksonville native actively involved in many community and charitable endeavors.
