Our Jensen funeral home and staff
We are centrally located on Northeast Jensen Beach Boulevard, close to many churches, the community center, downtown, Hutchinson Island and All Saints Cemetery. Our facility has a contemporary, home-like setting with well-appointed and comfortable rooms for visitations and receptions, as well as a spacious chapel for on-site services.
The warm, compassionate staff at Aycock Funeral Home is experienced in most religious and ethnic customs, as well as military and fraternal organization protocols. We know that losing a loved one is a difficult emotional experience, and we are committed to meeting your service expectations.
Life well celebrated
We are also committed to providing a personal, professional and individualized funeral service that truly celebrates your life or the life of your loved one. Our range of services include a traditional funeral with a cemetery burial, a cremation with remains scattered in a meaningful place and creative memorials complete with live music, favorite foods, a full bar and personalized mementos. We take the things that mattered to someone and put them together to create a singular, heartfelt memorial.
We are affiliated with Aycock Funeral Home locations in Jupiter, Stuart, Port Saint Lucie and Fort Pierce. Fernhill Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum in Stuart, Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce and Riverside Memorial Park in Tequesta are also our affiliated local cemeteries. However, we understand the seasonal nature of Jensen Beach residents. As a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers, Aycock Funeral Home is able to arrange for out-of-state transfers. We also provide National Transferability of Prearranged Services. Please contact us if you need immediate assistance or would like more information about the benefits of planning funeral arrangements in advance.
G. Wade Aycock opened Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, Florida, on South Federal Highway in December 1968. A businessman and compassionate funeral professional, he quickly established a reputation for providing fine funeral, memorial, burial and cremation services.
Treasure Coast expansion
Wade's first expansion was into Jensen Beach in 1973. Later, in 1982, he opened a third location of Aycock Funeral Home on Floresta Drive in Port Saint Lucie. Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center opened in Jupiter in 1987. The fifth Aycock Funeral Home was added to the grounds of Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce in 1996. Along the way, the original Stuart location also built an on-site crematory. Aycock Funeral Home opened a second location on Bayshore Boulevard in Port Saint Lucie in 1995. It combined operations with Roger L. Byrd – Port St. Lucie Funeral Home in 2004 and is now known as Aycock Funeral Home – Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel. In addition, a second Stuart location operates as Aycock Funeral Home – Young & Prill Chapel, about 15 minutes south of the original Stuart location.
