Sherry Ahart-Davies, currently serving as a managing director, has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the state of Texas since 1993. Originally from St. Louis and a resident of Katy, She has more than two decades of experience providing families with compassionate care and professional service. Sherry is a graduate of Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and attended The University of Arkansas.
Sherry is an active member of the Katy Chamber of Commerce, Katy Area Economic Development Council, Katy Chapter of Network Texas and Katy Continuity of Care. She is an active volunteer with the Ballard House and a board member of The Arc of Katy.
In her spare time Sherry enjoys cycling, running, gardening and shopping for antiques. She is married and has 2 daughters.
Blake has served the families of Katy and the Houston area with the utmost professionalism and compassion. When he’s not at the funeral home, you will likely find him supporting the community as an active volunteer or spending quality time with his family.
Taryn Smith was born in Houston, Texas and attended schools in the Stafford school district. After graduation, she attended Houston Community College and graduated from Commonwealth Institute of Mortuary Science in 2012, becoming licensed in 2013. Taryn was driven to help families get through one of the toughest times in their lives and began working in an independent firm at the age of 18. She has extensive experience working with families who desire cremation services. In 2016 Taryn was recognized with an award for providing great customer service. In her spare time Taryn loves watching forensic shows and murder mysteries, spending time with family and friends and eating great food. She is a volunteer for our LIFT support group and the Ballard House.
