Catherine (Kat) grew up in Harrisville. She studied at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, and Keene State College.
Before attending mortuary school, Kat lived in Portsmouth. She managed and drove for taxi companies, eventually co-owning her own transportation company. Kat moved back to the Monadnock region in early 2013 and began an apprenticeship at Fletcher Funeral Home. She completed her associate degree in funeral service and, upon completing her apprenticeship and passing exams, she earned her embalming and funeral director license.
Kat serves on the board of directors for The Samaritans, an organization dedicated to helping those who suffer with contemplating suicide as well as those who have lost loved ones by suicide.
Kat lives in Swanzey with her daughter, significant other, stepdaughter and their boxer, Goober. In her spare time her family attends Renaissance fairs in full costume, goes to concerts and museums and tries new foods.
