Whatever you need, we are here for you.

A caring Keller funeral home

Front Exterior at Keller's Old Town Funeral Home & Cremation ServiceBuilt of brick and Austin stone, Keller’s covers 8,400 square feet and includes a chapel that seats up to 150 guests. Seating is flexible and the space is easily divided into two smaller sections. Stained-glass windows lend a traditional feel; the latest audiovisual equipment allows us to play favorite music or a multimedia tribute to a loved one (which we are happy to create for you from photos and video).

Our experienced funeral directors care deeply about this community and the people in it. They listen carefully to what each family wants and needs—and then work hard to create memorable memorials that you can look back on and cherish.

Personalized funerals and memorials

Golf ball mementosWe believe that each person’s life is special, and a unique life deserves a unique celebration. Our funeral directors specialize in creating one-of-a-kind tributes that celebrate a person’s passions, interests and individuality. We pride ourselves on custom-tailored funerals and memorials—no event is ever the same.

You name it and we’ll try to do it. Imagine a butterfly release for your nature lover, slot machines in the chapel for an aunt who loved the Shreveport casinos, fresh leis flown in from Hawaii for a grandfather with ties to the Aloha State. We’ll bring in tacos and a mariachi band for a Mexican-themed reception or display hunting trophies and drape the space in camouflage for an avid hunter's last morning outing. Start with a story; we'll take it from there.

Affordable cremation services

Cremation is important in certain religions and cultures, but regardless of cultural or religious affiliations, more and more families are choosing cremation over other options. Keller's Old Town Funeral Home & Cremation Service uses a private off-site crematorium and provides several options for cremation services.

Some families choose direct cremation without a service of any kind. Some families opt for a traditional funeral service with their loved one present, followed by cremation. Still others have a loved one cremated and then hold a celebration of life at the funeral home, cemetery or a location especially meaningful to the person being remembered. Whatever your religious tradition or personal preference, however simple or elaborate your vision, just let us know.

"My husband died unexpectly from COVID19. Keller Old Town Funeral Home was the first placed I called. Maranda and Diane were so kind and understanding. They walked me through everything, from have a personal viewing, to picking out the Urn, to arranging for copies of the Death Certificates. The urn and the engraving are beautiful and he was presented to me with a lovely crush velvet green bag. I never thought I would be arranging my husband's cremation, he was only 55 years old. But Keller Old Town Funeral Home made the process easy, gentle and respectful. I am glad to have my husband now with me at home. Thank you"
