Shane Meloy joined Palm Northwest Mortuary in October 2015. He graduated from Naylor High School in Naylor, Missouri, and Arkansas State University of Mountain Home with an Associate of Applied Science degree in mortuary science in 2002. Shane has worked in funeral service as a funeral director, embalmer and funeral home manager since 2000 and treats every family he meets as his own. Following his dream to live in the west, he moved to Las Vegas in 2005. When he is not spending his spare time with his young son, Shane enjoys watching football, Formula 1 racing, basketball, hockey, and playing poker.
Shannon E Nordyke
Shannon Nordyke, who's grandfather was also a funeral director, follows a family tradition of funeral service. Originally from Anita, Iowa, Shannon graduated in 2006 from Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, Ill. with an Associate of Applied Science degree in mortuary science. A funeral director with Palm Northwest since 2014, she says of her service, “Listening to families gives me the inspiration to gain ideas to make their vision become a reality.” Shannon is married and enjoys swimming, riding motorcycles and reading mystery and crime drama novels.
