"Everything was done for us. We came to the service for my mother with only one purpose. We came to honor and remember my mother. Gary Evans and Whitten's staff took care of all the work and we had no concerns about the service. We are so thankful."

"The Whitten Funeral Home will work with you for every detail of the funeral process from picking up the body, embalming, grooming of the body, clothing, scheduling the viewing and service, to contacting the cemetery and the engravers of the headstone. They will involve you in every step including writing, if needed, of the obituary, and they will arrange your family photos on a disc to be shown on a loop over the casket (urn) until the service begins. They will let you determine the order of the funeral service, including the officiant (pastor/minister) and eulogies, and you can choose the music (if desired). We had a bluegrass band which played two gospel songs and a gospel song called 'Heaven,' completed the service. My Dad would have been very proud of his homegoing service."
