A Monmouth County funeral home
All of the services at Neary Quinn Funeral Home are designed to help you through one of the most personal and challenging stages of life. Whether you are seeking green burials or need translation services for Spanish-speaking friends and family, we are ready to assist. It is our privilege to serve the Manasquan community, and we do what it takes to meet your every request.
Neary Quinn Funeral Home is among a select group of funeral homes certified by the Green Burial Council, a nonprofit organization that encourages the use of burial as a means of facilitating the restoration, acquisition and stewardship of natural areas. In addition, we are proud to be a member of the Dignity Memorial ® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers.
Personalized funeral services
The team at Neary Quinn is here to help you plan a celebration that reflects her personality and passions of yourself or a loved ones. Whether you want a traditional funeral service or a Life Well Celebrated ® event, plan to have a large gathering or would like a more intimate service, our expert associates will work with you one on one to ensure your needs, wishes and budget are met. We can help you find inspiration almost anywhere—in a favorite song, hobby or even an iconic style—and turn that inspiration into a memorial filled with thoughtful and meaningful details. Imagine it: From hiking to homebrewing, guitars to golf balls, the New Jersey Devils to beauty pageants, we take the things that mattered to someone and string them together to create a singular, heartfelt memorial. We are here to help you and your family celebrate life like no other.
Not everyone knows that there are many cremation options. If you are interested in cremation, the funeral home team can explain the process and the different memorial and burial choices. From a direct cremation without a service or a witness to a full funeral service before or after the cremation and more, we help you understand this increasingly common decision.
We Honor Veterans
At Neary Quinn Funeral Home, we understand the unique needs of America’s veterans and their families. As a Level Four Founding Community Partner with We Honor Veterans, we have a staff who honored to serve our nation’s heroes and take this responsibility seriously. We have taken steps to ensure our staff is knowledgeable of all the benefits available to military veterans and their families.
In addition, we host community events annually in honor of our veterans and work closely with local veterans organizations. With respect, integrity and dignity, we will walk you through the steps of creating a veteran’s memorial service that truly honors the life and sacrifice of your loved one.
Lean on us
Please contact us if you need immediate assistance, would like to schedule a tour of our funeral home or want to learn more about our funeral, cremation, memorialization and burial services.
Neary Quinn Funeral Home was founded by Fred E. Lefferson in 1925. From 1938 to 1950, the business was operated by Floyd T. Brown. Approximately 25 years after its founding the firm was purchased by Robert C. Neary Sr. Although it was a predominantly Protestant funeral home in its early years, today our welcoming funeral home serves families of all faiths and religions in Manasquan, New Jersey, and the surrounding Monmouth County communities. The funeral home still operates in its original location on South Street and has become a landmark in the community.
