Marcos has been our location manager since August 2016. He graduated University at Stony Brook with a bachelor’s degree in physical anthropology and American Academy McAllister Institute with a diploma in funeral sciences. Marcos has served the families of Queens, Palm Beach and Broward counties since 1998 with professionalism and compassion. He likes to travel, work on computers and go walking or hiking. Marcos serves at St. Joseph's Episcopal Church in Boynton Beach and is excited to expand his horizons, overcoming new challenges with the support of longtime friends and colleagues.
Robert Dale Russell
Robert Russell started working at the R. Jay Kraeer Funeral Home in July 1967. He began as a general employee—working funerals, making removals, running ambulance service and cutting the grass. Bob graduated from Miami Dade College with a degree in mortuary science. He became a licensed embalmer in 1971 and a licensed funeral director the following year.
In 1974, Bob became the manager of the Kraeer Fort Lauderdale location and by 1976 was managing 5 more locations. Previously a co-owner, Bob has remained dedicated to the Kraeer Funeral Home family and has been a consistent presence throughout several changes. Bob served as a regional partner over operations in Florida and Puerto Rico before transitioning to his position as a consultant.
Bob served on the board of the Florida Funeral Directors Association including a term as president. He is also the president of several Osceola County funeral homes and cemeteries.
Bob is married and has 3 children and 3 grandchildren and in his free time enjoys fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.
