Michael Alarcon began his career in nursing, where his eyes and heart were opened to end of life care. He transitioned his career to funeral service. Michael has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since the 1990s. He currently serves as the managing director of our team, a recognized leader in providing care before, during and after a loss has occurred.
Michael has successfully initiated several key partnerships with local hospice groups, board and care facilities, assisted living facilities and retirement communities. He has been invited to speak at conventions for both the California Assisted Living Association and the California Hospice and Palliative Care Association. He is also the co-founder of the Transitional Care Task Force which is a voluntary organization of hospice and funeral service providers who, through learning and the sharing of resources, develop best practices for the collaboration of hospice and funeral services in order to benefit those served.
