To better serve the East Nashville community, Eastland Funeral Home & Cremation Service offers affordable funerals and cremations along with plan-ahead options. We have deep ties to the area and strive to provide both personal service and value to meet every family's needs. Our motto for years has been "serving as we would be served," and our team truly lives by those words.
Tributes for loved ones
We believe a funeral or memorial service should be as unique as the person it honors. We take great pride in creating perfectly personalized services that beautifully capture the essence of you or your loved one.
Our team at Eastland Funeral Home & Cremation Service will take a song, hobby, trademark style, defining philosophy or lifelong passion and turn that inspiration into a memorable service filled with thoughtful details. You'll find there's no limit to the special tribute we can create so that your life—or the life of someone you love—is well celebrated. We also help write obituaries, schedule visitation hours and organize catering as requested.
We understand this is an emotional and difficult time in your life. We hope you'll allow us the opportunity to serve you. Please contact us to learn more about our funeral home or to receive information about your funeral and cremation options.
Eastland Funeral Home & Cremation Service was founded in 1940 by John C. Roesch and John Patton at our current location of 904 Gallatin Road. Built in the 1880s, the funeral home was chosen for its historical beauty, which still can be seen in the front foyer today. A chapel and parlors were added to the building in 1953 to meet the community's growing funeral service needs.
Today, our team in East Nashville provides families with the same level of service that has endeared us to the community for more than 75 years.
