    For more than 30 years, Doug has provided compassionate care to families in the New York area, and currently serves as our assistant manager. He earned his degree in mortuary science from the State University of New York Farmingdale in 1989. He is proud to be part of the Dignity Memorial team, guiding you through one of the most personal and difficult times in life. When he is not working, Doug enjoys spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle and flying airplanes.

    Monica Klementowicz Tillot

    General Manager

    For many years, Monica has assisted families in funeral homes in both Brooklyn and Manhattan. She grew up over a funeral home (her father was a funeral director), so service to families has been instilled in her from a very early age.

    Monica earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Fordham University and graduated from American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service. She is proud to be a part of the Dignity Memorial® team, guiding you through one of the most personal times in life.

    When not serving families, Monica enjoys spending time with her husband, Monty—who retired from Riverside Memorial Chapel after many years—and their 4 pups, beneath a sign that reads, "Yes, I really DO need all these dogs."

    Sherry Vered Anthony

    Funeral Director

    Sherry Vered Anthony has been a licensed funeral director at Riverside Memorial Chapel since January 2014. She has proudly dedicated her life to Jewish funeral service since the age of 16 when she joined her local Chevra Kadisha. In 2013 Sherry graduated Nassau Community College with a degree in mortuary science. She wakes up every day grateful for the opportunity to serve the families of New York City.

    Sherry is an active member and volunteer of UJA Federation’s Emerging Leaders and Philanthropists, Hadassah New York City, Jewish International Connections New York City, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Metropolitan Funeral Directors Association, New York State Funeral Directors Association and various Chevrot Kadisha in her area. Sherry and her family are active members of the Chabad of Rockland County.

    Funeral Director

    Since 1984, Ann Marie has provided compassionate care to families in the New York City area. Ann Marie earned her Mortuary Science degree from SUNY Farmingdale in 1977 and is proud to be part of the Dignity Memorial® team. When she is not serving families, Ann Marie volunteers with the United War Veterans Council, helping with the Veterans Day parade and other veteran events.

    Since 1976, Raymond has provided compassionate care to families in the New York City metropolitan area. Raymond earned his degree in mortuary science from SUNY Farmingdale in 1975.     Since February 2000, Joel has provided compassionate care to families in the New York metropolitan area. Joel earned his bachelor's in communications from Curry College in Milton, Massachusetts, in 1996, and his degree in mortuary science from Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York, in 1999. He is proud to be a part of the Dignity Memorial team, guiding you through one of the most personal times in life.

    Joel is a member of the Riverdale Jewish Center, Hebrew Institute of Riverdale, Spuyten Duyvil Congregation, Adath Israel of Brooklyn, King Solomon-Beethoven #232 Knights of Pythias, Albany City Lodge #540 and Albany Hebrew Tailors Association. He is on the executive committee of the Jewish Funeral Directors of America.

    Caroline has been a Funeral Director at Riverside Memorial Chapel since 1996. Prior to that Caroline was with Riverside Gordon Chapels in Fort Lauderdale, FL from 1991. She graduated from SUNY Farmingdale with a Mortuary Science degree and from Florida International University with a BS degree in Psychology. She is proud to be a part of the Dignity Memorial team, guiding families with the utmost professionalism and compassion.

    Jeffery started serving at Riverside Memorial Chapel in December of 1992. He is a graduate of University of California, Santa Barbara and American Academy McAllister Institute of Mortuary Science. Jeffery started his career in the funeral business in San Francisco in 1989 at Daphne Funerals Marin. Jeffery is proud to be a part of the Dignity Memorial® team, guiding you through one of the most personal times in life. When Jeffery is not at work, he is usually playing or doing homework with his 2 school-aged boys, working on his house or traveling.

    In a long tradition established by New York City’s Rosenthal and Grossberg families, Charles has provided service excellence to Jewish families since 1963. He became president of Riverside Funeral Chapel in 1989. With more than 50 years of compassionate service behind him, Charles has earned a reputation as New York City’s preeminent Jewish funeral director. He has arranged and directed some of the city’s largest and most memorable funeral events.

    Fellow Riverside associates consider Charles a mentor, and they admire his willingness to pitch in to help no matter what. Early in his career, Charles mastered the art of thinking on his feet, and he believes that his most valuable skill is being a good listener. The families he has worked with through the years would likely agree.

    Charles sits on the executive committee of the Jewish Funeral Directors of America, where he is an honorary past president and past treasurer. He is a member of the Tripartite Commission on Jewish Funeral Standards and National Association of Temple Administrators, as well as many other professional organizations.
