Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery
Experience the reassuring convenience of on-site burial at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery. On-site burial at our cemetery streamlines and simplifies the service for guests and family alike. Historic trees with seasonal foliage dot the well-manicured landscape of our gardens, which feature both traditional in-ground burial sites as well as above-ground entombment.
Traditional religious funerals remain a classic choice in Chicago, as do military funerals with honors. We offer cremation with optional burial of cremated remains for those who seek an alternative. In 1927 Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Oak Lawn, Illinois, became an early provider of funeral services to the entire southwest Chicago region. As the portfolio of services grew to include new services, such as burial of cremated remains, the name changed to Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery.
In 1996, almost 70 years after our founding, Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home opened to allow families to plan a cremation, funeral, memorial and burial at these sister locations.
