Patricia Murray is a lifelong resident of Ogdensburg, New York, and a graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy, Utica College and State University of New York Canton.
After college, Patti began her career in a small accounting office in Ogdensburg where she worked for several years. After suffering the loss of her husband due to kidney transplant complications in 1994, she returned to college and obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in mortuary science. In 1998 Patti began serving at our funeral home. Since 2005 Patti has served as the manager, overseeing all of the facility's day to day activities.
Patti is an active board member and parishioner of Notre Dame Catholic Church, a member of the State University of New York Canton Mortuary Science Advisory Board and a member of the St. Lawrence County Funeral Directors Association. Her husband also works at the funeral home and the 2 have a blended family with 2 daughters.
David F Murray
Since 2008 David Murray has served families in Ogdensburg and the surrounding communities at our funeral home with the utmost professionalism and compassion. Dave earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Iona College in 1988 and his degree in mortuary science from State University of New York Canton in 2009.
After suffering the loss of his first wife, who fought a six-year battle with cancer, in 1994, Dave brought his family back to the North Country where he was raised. Before joining our team with his 2nd wife, Patricia, Dave spent 13 years as the owner and operator of The Place Tavern, a very popular restaurant in Ogdensburg.
He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Ogdensburg Elks Lodge 772. When he is not at the funeral home, Dave enjoys volunteering with area youth of all ages, coaching competitive swimming and living by the motto, "You can’t go wrong doing the right thing."
JoAnna Saunders is a lifelong resident of St. Lawrence County. She graduated from Morristown Central School, Jefferson Community College and ultimately received a bachelor’s degree in funeral services administration from SUNY Canton in 2015.
JoAnna then completed her residency and has been licensed since 2017. She enjoys spending her time outdoors, whether it is gardening or just sitting by the St. Lawrence River, and enjoying the company of her friends and family. JoAnna is a member of the Ogdensburg Area Zonta Club and the New York State Funeral Directors Association. She lives in Ogdensburg with her fiancé and their cat, Monkey.
