Personalized funerals and custom celebrations of life
Your stories and memories inspire our work. Tell us about a lifetime of volunteer service, a prized collection or a passionate pastime. Whether you envision an exhibition for lifetime of achievement awards in our spacious stateroom, or a last BBQ cookout glazed with your family’s secret sauce, at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, we have the professional experience to carry out almost any wish and the flexible reception space to accommodate your guests.
Traditional funerals with burial remain a classic choice, as contemporary upbeat Celebrations of Life® grow in popularity. Military funerals honor those who served our country. We also offer cremation, including optional interment of cremated remains. Our talented team of funeral directors work to create custom experiences that guests will remember for a lifetime.
We Honor Veterans
At Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, we understand the unique needs of America’s veterans and their families. As a Level Four Founding Community Partner with We Honor Veterans, we are honored to serve our nation’s heroes and take this responsibility seriously. We have taken steps to ensure our staff is knowledgeable of all the benefits available to military veterans and their families.
In addition, we host community events annually in honor of our veterans and work closely with local veterans organizations. With respect, integrity and dignity, we will walk you through the steps of creating a veteran’s memorial service that truly honors the life and sacrifice of your loved one.

Serving Okies since 1966
Bill Eisenhour founded Bill Eisenhour Funeral Homes and Cremation Centers in Del City, Oklahoma, in 1966. Bill’s brother Harold was already in the funeral profession in Blanchard, Oklahoma, so he purchased a small residence at 5005 Southeast 29th Street and converted it into a funeral home. Bill and Harold’s brother, Lloyd, joined them in what became a family business.
Construction on the 1st chapel
As Eisenhour Funeral Homes grew, so did the need for new facilities. In 1969, they added their first funeral chapel to better serve more families. In 1970, the northeast location was constructed, and they grew to serve more families than any other funeral home in eastern Oklahoma County.
More construction and new crematories
In 1978, the northeast location at 8805 Northeast 23rd Street was completely updated and remodeled, and a new chapel was constructed. A remodel of the southeast location took place in 1982. In 1996, a state-of-the-art cremation and embalming facility was built. Bill Eisenhour Funeral Homes installed the first and only crematory in Eastern Oklahoma County. In 2003, the business added a second crematory.
