    Christina has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 2007. She feels it is her calling to help families during such a tragic and painful time and hopes to ease the stress of such a difficult experience by remaining an authentic source of comfort during the funeral planning process. Pleased to serve the community, Christina makes herself available to families night and day.

    An Arkansas native, Christina moved to Kansas City with her family for her husband to attend Cleveland Chiropractic College and she has four children, ranging from grade-school age to adult.

    Jesse M. Flores

    Funeral Director

    Jesse has been a funeral director since the 2000s. He started working for our funeral home in 1999 in the floral shop and soon became interested in becoming a funeral director. With the help of several associates, he was able to shift his skills and begin living out his dream.

    “Every family is different, and that is what makes my job at the funeral home both interesting and challenging,” Jesse said. Understanding the needs of each family, he works hard to create a meaningful tribute equal to the quality of each loved one's life.

    Jesse is a native of Overland Park, Kansas, has been married since the 1970s and has 3 sons and 2 grandsons. In his spare time, he enjoys attending his grandsons' basketball, soccer and baseball games.

    Sherry M Padilla

    Funeral Director

    Sherry earned her degree in mortuary science at Kansas City Kansas Community College. She has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 2005, providing excellent customer service to our families ever since. Sherry has always wanted to help people, and in her role as a funeral director she does exactly that. In order to ensure customer satisfaction, Sherry lets our families know they are her top priority. Ask Sherry what makes her job rewarding, and she'll respond, "When everything is over, getting that hug from the family. That says it all!" When she isn't working, she enjoys her life in the country with her animals. She has 3 dogs and 1 grand cat, and is also passionate about animal rescue. Besides her furry kids, she has 1 daughter who is her pride and joy and lives in Portland, Maine.
