Danny has been honored to serve the families in the Ottawa and Gatineau area for more than four decades. He graduated from Humber College and obtained his Ontario funeral director license in 1978. He takes pride in the opportunity to guide people through one of their most personal times in life. When he is not serving families he enjoys being a grandfather, volunteering, sports and music.
Lorne has been a funeral director with McEvoy-Shields ever since he obtained his funeral director's license in 1972. Lorne has served many families with professionalism and compassion over the years. Since his semi-retirement, Lorne has ample time to enjoy playing cards, reading and, especially, spending time with his six grandchildren.
Eric has been a funeral director with McEvoy-Shields since 1990. As a graduate of the physical education program at the University of Ottawa, Eric is often obsessing over the latest primal/paleo/keto eating and workout wisdom. He spends his spare time golfing and playing and writing music as part of a musical trio. Eric and his wife share their house with the owner, Stanley the cat.
Since 1997 Barry has provided compassionate care to families in the Ottawa and Gatineau areas. Barry earned his degree in funeral service education from Humber College in Toronto in 1994. He is proud to be a part of our team, guiding you through one of the most personal times in life. When he is not serving families, Barry enjoys playing golf and watching or attending the games of his beloved Ottawa Redblacks and Ottawa Senators.
