Our mission at Baldwin-Fairchild Oviedo Funeral Home is to help families create personalized funerals and memorials. This approach keeps us open to traditional religious rites as well as contemporary gatherings that deeply reflect a person's life. That means that whether you want a basic cremation with cremated remains scattered in a personally meaningful place, a funeral in our cozy chapel with cemetery burial nearby, or a modern celebration of life with live music, favorite foods and a send-off that expresses the passions of yourself or your loved one, we are happy to deliver.
Want an afternoon ice cream social? Or maybe an evening wine and cheese gathering is a better fit. Were you thinking about a garden-themed funeral complete with a tea party and personalized seed packets as takeaways? If you can imagine it, we can make it happen.
Not everyone knows that there are many cremation options. If you are interested in cremation, the funeral home team can explain the process and different options. From a direct cremation without a memorial service or a witness cremation to a full funeral service before or after the cremation and more, we help you understand this increasingly common choice—and handle all of the cremation arrangements.
At Baldwin-Fairchild Oviedo Funeral Home, we also recognize that funeral arrangements and associated expenses can be overwhelming. In addition to assisting during your immediate time of need, our funeral directors specialize in working with families to plan ahead. By preparing in advance, you provide a sense of relief, peace of mind and comfort for your loved ones while ensuring your wishes are met and your budget is kept. We are here to discuss these options should you wish to do so.

In 1972, Richard O. Baldwin Jr. began Baldwin-Fairchild Cemeteries & Funeral Homes when he founded the first Baldwin Funeral Home in the Goldenrod area of Orlando. In 1974, Richard Baldwin expanded to Altamonte Springs, and in 1978 he added All Faiths Memorial Park in Casselberry.
Growth in Orlando
In 1980, Richard expanded further through the acquisition of 3 additional funeral homes in the Orlando area: Fairchild Funeral Home and Crematory located on Lake Ivanhoe, Bray Funeral Home in Apopka and Hoequist Funeral Home in Winter Garden. All 5 of the funeral homes were renamed Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Homes.
Our funeral homes today
Following more acquisitions through the years, Baldwin-Fairchild Cemeteries & Funeral Homes now consist of 10 chapel locations and 4 cemeteries serving all of the Greater Orlando area. Richard has always believed that families, regardless of their faith, social status or circumstances, deserve unwavering respect and dignity throughout the entire funeral process. It is that principle which has earned the Baldwin-Fairchild group of cemeteries and funeral homes their excellent reputation. At Baldwin-Fairchild, we strive to provide the finest cemeteries and the most caring ceremonies for every family we serve.
