MaryNina has been serving in the funeral industry since the 1970s. She began as the secretary and bookkeeper but started meeting with more and more families throughout the years. In January 1998, MaryNina earned her California license as a funeral director. MaryNina believes that families appreciate working with a licensed funeral director and she is proud of what she has to offer. She became assistant manager in the late 2000s and enjoys the business side of her work, although her preference is working directly with families.
MaryNina is the proud mother of 4 beautiful daughters and grandmother to 9 amazing grandchildren. When her daughters were young, she served on the Parent Club Board and School Board and has served as president of both. She continues to be involved in her community in many ways. MaryNina serves as a lector, cantor and Eucharist minister at her church. She is past president of her Rotary Club and a member of Sons of Italy, the Italian Heritage Society and an active volunteer with both the Pacific Grove and Monterey Peninsula Chambers of Commerce. In MaryNina’s free time, she especially enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends. She hopes to travel more after the travel bug hit with her trip to Ireland in July 2017.

Lucian Oldenburg believes life should be defined by what someone has accomplished, not accumulated. She has held several jobs during her lifetime but considers being a funeral director her life's passion, honored to help someone at one of the hardest times in life. Going home at night knowing she made a difference in someone’s world gives her a great feeling. Serving in the funeral business since the 2000s, she is certain this is where she belongs.
Although she grew up in San Jose, Lucian has moved 29 times over the years and has traveled to Europe more than 10 times with her German husband. She does not have a bucket list, but lives to make everyday a great one.
