Since 1980 Stephen has served at Alleva Funeral Home, Inc., which was established by his parents in 1953. He has served as location manager since 1995 when the home became a part of the Dignity Memorial® network.
After graduating Conestoga High School in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, in 1975 and losing his father the same year, Stephen attended Delaware County Community College followed by mortuary school in New York. He then joined his brother at Alleva Funeral Home, where the two ran the business until joining Dignity Memorial® in 1995.
At an early age Stephen learned from his father the value of compassion within funeral service and he is honored to continue his family heritage of service to families who are going through a difficult time of loss.
