Carmen Cozart began her career in funeral service in 1994 and joined the Dignity Memorial team in 2012. She is a licensed funeral director, embalmer and cremationist, having earned her Associate of Applied Science in mortuary science through Mesa Community College. Keeping an open mind, Carmen vows to never stop learning new techniques as she strives to better serve families. She says, "Every family is important and must be welcomed and treated with compassion. Personal touches mean a lot to families experiencing a loss." In her spare time, Carmen likes to travel with her family and practice yoga.
Leah E. Phillips
A licensed funeral director in the State of Iowa since 2016, Leah Phillips is a mortuary science graduate of Des Moines Area Community College. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations with a minor in design studies from Iowa State University. From 2014 to 2018, Leah worked as a funeral director in Fort Dodge. She then relocated to the Phoenix area and is currently pursuing her Arizona license. In her free time, Leah enjoys writing, digital art, being outdoors with her two dogs and practicing yoga.
Hunter Marie McKnight
Since 2016, Hunter has provided compassionate care to families in the Phoenix area. Hunter earned a degree in mortuary science from Chandler-Gilbert College in 2017. She is proud to help families in their times of need. When Hunter is not serving families, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Ashley Danielle Taylor
Ashley has been a part of the Dignity Memorial team since 2016. She earned her Associate of Applied Science in mortuary science from Chandler-Gilbert Community College and joined our team in 2018. Her top priority is to ensure families know all their options and are given the opportunity to create a personalized tribute in a compassionate and pressure-free environment. When she is away from the office, Ashley is likely spending time with friends or nose-deep in a good book.
