Since 2011, Cory Brown has provided compassionate care to families in the Cartersville-Bartow County area. Cory earned her degree in mortuary science from Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service in 2011 and was a member of Pi Sigma Eta fraternity. She holds dual licensing as a funeral director and embalmer in Georgia and Tennessee. In 2001, she graduated from Ashland University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. Cory's passion is serving others with excellence, and she dedicates herself to each family and creating memorable funerals and memorials.
James Johnathan Evans
James "Jonathan" Evans has served in the funeral industry for many years. Jonathan obtained his degree at Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service and completed his apprenticeship in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Jonathan has a passion for helping people in their time of need. He is honored to help the people of Floyd County and Rome, Georgia, by being there when they need it the most.
Neil A Sanders
Since August 1982 Neil Sanders has provided compassionate care to hundreds of families in the Rome and Floyd County area. Neil earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of West Georgia in English and journalism. He is so very proud to be a part of the Dignity Memorial® team, helping guide families through some of their hardest and most personal times. Neil is an avid animal lover, a musician, playing piano and organ, and serves St. Mary's Catholic Church as an organist since the 1990s.
Richard L Smollar
Since 2003, Richard "Lee" Smollar has provided compassionate care to families in Rome, Georgia, and the surrounding area. He started in the funeral industry in 1993 while also pastoring. Lee completed his bachelor’s degree in 2010 at Shorter University.
Lee can support families not only as a funeral director, but also as a staff minister for those who choose. Lee believes that his role is based largely on trust, which is fundamental to helping families through emotionally challenging times.
When Lee is not serving families, he enjoys flying remote controlled planes, fishing, walking, hiking, going to the beach, enjoying movies with his family, serving his community in various ways and playing guitar. He has been married to his lovely wife, who is a registered nurse at Harbin Clinic, since 1974. Lee also serves as the associate pastor for the Cedartown Church of God in Cedartown, Georgia.
