Roy Akers Funeral Home opened in downtown San Antonio more than 80 years ago. Roy began working in the funeral profession at the age of 17. With hard work and dedication, he earned his license as a funeral director and opened his eponymous funeral home June 14, 1933.
Today, Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers upholds Roy's work ethic and dedication to providing compassionate funeral and cremation services to San Antonio families of all faiths and cultures.
