The main viewing rooms and chapels are warm and inviting, and our flexible floor plan can be arranged to accommodate all types of services.
We Honor Veterans
At Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Home, we understand the unique needs of America’s veterans and their families. As a Level Four Founding Community Partner with We Honor Veterans, we are honored to serve our nation’s heroes and take this responsibility seriously. We have taken steps to ensure our staff is knowledgeable of all the benefits available to military veterans and their families.
In addition, we host community events annually in honor of our veterans and work closely with local veterans organizations. With respect, integrity and dignity, we will walk you through the steps of creating a veteran’s memorial service that truly honors the life and sacrifice of your loved one.
Personalized funerals and cremation services
Our mission at Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Homes is to help families create personalized funerals and memorials. This approach keeps us open to traditional religious rites as well as contemporary gatherings that deeply reflect a person's life. That means that whether you want a basic cremation with a scattering in a personally meaningful place, a funeral in our chapel with cemetery burial nearby, or a modern celebration of life with live music and a send-off that expresses the passions of yourself or your loved one, we are happy to deliver.
If you are interested in cremation, the funeral home team can explain the process and different options. From a direct cremation without a memorial service or a witness cremation to a full funeral service before or after the cremation and more, we help you understand this increasingly common choice—and handle all of the cremation arrangements.
A trusted Westchester provider
We're proud to be a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers. Our funeral home is one of five Dignity Memorial providers in New York's Westchester County, along with Garlick Funeral Homes, Riverside Memorial Chapel and Louis Hirsch & Sons—all in Mount Vernon—and Whalen & Ball Funeral Home in Yonkers.
You are welcome to visit our funeral home to take a tour and meet our staff. Please contact us if you need immediate assistance or would like more information about our funeral and cremation services.
We cherish the community we serve and invite you to join us for our upcoming events.
