Jim is a second-generation funeral director with nearly 4 decades of experience providing families with compassionate care and professional service. He grew up in the West Texas town of Alpine and appreciates and identifies with the spirit of community shared by his friends and neighbors in Kaufman County.
Jim belongs to the Terrell Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Terrell. In 2010, Jim was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow with Rotary International. In addition, he has served on various civic and government boards in Texas.
Jim and his wife have 2 children and 1 grandchild. They enjoy gardening and outdoor activities and are members and volunteers at Community Life Church.
Richard A Burbach
After a successful career in the telecommunications industry, Richard felt a calling to become a funeral director. He graduated with honors from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and is now devoted to the families served at Roselawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens cemetery. He is a member of Pi Sigma Eta National Morticians Fraternity. Richard and his wife live in Lavon with their Boston terriers, Gunner and Willow. They have five sons, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. When he is not with his family or working Richard enjoys riding his Harley-Davidson Road King or making pens and other gifts in his workshop.
