After a successful career in the telecommunications industry, Richard felt a calling to become a funeral director. He graduated with honors from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and is now devoted to the families served at Roselawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens cemetery. He is a member of Pi Sigma Eta National Morticians Fraternity. Richard and his wife live in Lavon with their Boston terriers, Gunner and Willow. They have five sons, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. When he is not with his family or working Richard enjoys riding his Harley-Davidson Road King or making pens and other gifts in his workshop.
