We celebrate, honor, and love life. I have come to know how short life truly is, and am honored to help families/people at the time of great loss. It is important to me we do all we can to exceed the expectations of the family… they deserve nothing less. We do this by supporting our employees and helping provide the resources needed to deliver an outstanding event for all those in attendance.
I am grateful for the trust families place in us and for the opportunity to help people and their family members, at one of their most difficult and trying times in this life.
I am a lifelong resident of this area, growing up in Mukilteo. I have been married for 22 years and alongside my beautiful wife have been able to raise an awesome family… two boys and a girl. Some say they’ve given me my grey hair… others say it’s work…likely it’s the work as my kids can do no wrong.
Scott has lived in Seattle for nearly 2 decades. He feels fortunate to be part of the funeral profession and built his career on providing excellent care to families. He is honored to lead our funeral home team.
Scott is the father of 3 grown daughters. In his time away from the funeral home, he can be found in his garage and woodworking shop, fixing and building things. Scott also has a passion for health and fitness activities; reading; and old cars, hotrods and motorcycles.
Brenda L McCoy
As cemetery office manager, Brenda plays a key role in supporting the team who cares for the families we serve. She also gives cemetery tours to visitors and helps plan special events, such as those held on Memorial Day and Veterans Day.
Brenda started working at our location in 2007, after her father died. She loves her job, saying, “It’s the warm feeling of working with family, with a common goal to serve—plus being surrounded by 155 acres of the most beautiful property in Seattle.”
Brenda’s family moved to Seattle when she was 6 months old. She grew up in our very neighborhood and still remembers the old Seattle icons—Twin Teepees, Sambo’s, Shakey’s Pizza and Farrell’s.
