Forest Park East Funeral Home and Forest Park East Cemetery were started by the Eubanks family in 1952. In the early 2000s, the property they share was chosen as the new location for Campbell Bayou Cemetery.
Campbell Bayou Cemetery moved from Texas City to Webster
Campbell Bayou Cemetery was 1 of the 1st cemeteries in Texas City, Texas. Opened in the 1830s, its 1st documented burial was in 1856 and its last was in 1904. In the early 2000s, the cemetery needed to be moved to a new location and Forest Park East Cemetery was chosen as that new spot. Over a decade, 35 graves from Campbell Bayou Cemetery were carefully excavated and moved to a section of Forest Park East. In October 2015, a section of the cemetery was dedicated to the Campbell Bayou graves that were transferred here.

Military and veterans funerals
This Houston funeral home is proud to cater to veterans and their families. We can coordinate military honors and other ways of honoring a veteran's service to our country. Forest Park East Funeral Home is happy to offer these services and work closely with every branch of the military. Forest Park East Cemetery also offers 3 military-specific areas in the park reserved specifically for our veterans.
The funeral home and cemetery participate in the Homeless Veterans Burial Program. Founded on the belief that every veteran deserves a dignified and honorable burial, the Dignity Memorial Homeless Veterans Burial Program is a cooperative effort with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, local medical examiners, coroners, veterans advocates and other veterans organizations. Through this program, homeless and indigent veterans with no family are identified and provided with proper military burials.
Forest Park East Cemetery holds an annual event for veterans and has cemetery sections dedicated to military burials. Every Veterans Day, a local Girl Scouts troop comes and places flags on all of the military burial sites across the cemetery.
Involvement in the Webster community
We believe that giving back to our community is key to building and maintaining important relationships in Webster. The Forest Park East funeral home and cemetery teams take great pride in being involved residents.
Each year on Mother’s Day, we invite the community of Webster to a picnic service on the cemetery grounds. Mothers in attendance are given flowers to mark the occasion. We also provide flower arrangements for guests to place on the graves of their mothers, totaling more than 1,000 flowers each year.
Forest Park East also supports the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and area Girl Scouts troops.

"This was my first experience in planning a service for a loved one. Our funeral director & his staff were very compassionate while maintaining their professionalism. They made sure our needs were me)..."See More
"If you choose to use Forest Park, do your homework. When my first husband passed away, they saw me coming, and got me. This is my second husband and fourth time using these services. $$$$"
"I felt the cost of $1795 to open a crypt in the mausoleum was excessive. There was no digging involved, just scraping out some concrete to open the space (as far as I know)."
