Private columbarium niches, including adjacent space for family members, join granite memorial benches as options for a lasting tribute. Family estates offer the reassurance of one central gathering place for future generations to gather in reflection.

Our historic cemetery features ancient trees that share their seasonal foliage each season. Well-maintained lawns dotted with bright flowers accent our gardens, which feature sections for both bronze memorials and upright monuments. Two duck ponds add to the tranquility of our park.

History

Established in 1936, Forsyth Memorial Park is the largest cemetery in Forsyth County, North Carolina. With a beautiful and serene landscape, our memorial park has provided a final resting place for generations of families in the Old Town and Greenbrier communities, as well as surrounding areas of Clemmons, Lewisville and Winston-Salem.

Several well-known families are interred at Forsyth Memorial Park, including a few Major League Baseball players, one of whom is the famous pitcher Ernie Shore. Other notables include the founder of K&W Cafeteria, Wake Forest University alumni, the owners of Flow Motors, Reynolds family members and M.C. Benton.
